THE
MISSION
Challenge men and women to live out God's Word as they never have, in boldness, humility, and free from fear and defeat.
Sacré-Cœur, Paris
HOPE & PURPOSE

Most Christians are not well equipped, if equipped at all, to clearly tell others what they believe or articulate their world view. Why? Most likely your church is not training you to be the knowledgeable ambassador God expects each of us to be. Does that mean you need a church loaded with theology? By no means. God did not ask for a world of theologians, just someone who is completely and freely in love with Him and ready to grow and work. So what should you do?
I encourage you to Face Your Faith, fearlessly! Take a good look at what you might be missing to serve God in ways you never believed you could, and grow in ways you never have. Learn how to stand in peace and unashamed in this world for God.
THE PURPOSE
Face Your Faith is designed to help and encourage anyone who are serious to Challenge Their Faith in order to live out God's Word in boldness, sincerity, humility and free from fear and defeat.
Tragically, many once Bible centered, Christ centered Churches around the globe are abandoning God's direction for their own marketing schemes. The Church is abandoning passionate teaching dedicated to equipping believers with a deep understanding, clear direction and the need to share God’s Word with passion and maturity.
Today, many churches still talk "reliance" on God, yet behind the scenes are focused on how to keep the regulars happy and lure new ones with events and culturally relevant fluff.
In droves, churches are spending millions of dollars to be culturally “creative" or anciently accurate, and most every church is seeker sensitive to attract the money giving masses to their version of a “spiritual encounter".
It’s time to get very real, and back to Christ centered basics, becoming hungry students of God’s Word. Face Your Faith is here to bridge the ever widening gap of the declining church, back to what God desires each of us to be; unexpected, knowledgable, dedicated, prepared servant leaders for God to the world.
Is it vital that we worship together? Yes! That said, just what does our gathering in worship look like and are you gathering for an event to hangout or are you being forced to grow your relationship in Christ?
Regardless of what your church offers or doesn't offer, God will hold you accountable for your growth and walk. You need to make sure you are expertly equipped for your only job, that of humbly living out your salvation in Jesus Christ to the world.
THE HOPE
The hope is to see you get very real with your life in Christ and welcome the many challenges and trials God will use in your life to grow you for His perfect purpose.
The hope is to Challenge Your Faith in all aspects and force you to think deeply about your one and only purpose God has you on this earth for.
The hope is that you will dig deep into God's Word with us to know God's Word intimately, and use it in ways you never have for both yourself and others.
The hope is for you to experience daily joy and growth through promised trials and persecution, because you are doing your job, knowing that "God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His perfect plan."
THE BATTLE
The emotional and spiritual battle many face is very real and learning how to Suffer Well in Christ is the key to winning and understanding. Many people tend to suffer alone and rarely ask for help. On the few occasions we do ask for help, we are typically at the breaking point of emotional and spiritual agony. Unfortunately at that stage in life, listening to wise counsel only seems to magnify the pain we are intrenched with and we often turn further away in resentment.
Men in particular, if left to their own devices, often chase after the quick fixes and "cures" to sooth the pain. Men often burry themselves, far more frequently than women in empty philosophies, pornography, alcohol, "friends", women and all too often hardcore drug use, etc., and just about any other distraction we can find outside of God.
So where do you turn for help? Unfortunately too many of us are always looking for the next guru, life-hack, spirituality, more "friends" to hangout with to tell us what we want to hear and take care of us or ultimately enable us. But we fully know all that is the easy way out, and only provides a deeper pit in which to fall into.
What to do? Go talk to God! I know, it sounds cheap, but have you really ever done it? Ask Him to put someone in your life who will sincerely take you on, challenge you deeply and gladly bear your burden. If you are serious, God will answer you and provide in ways you never dreamed possible. That is the true mark of a men and women who are serious about getting right with God.
Yes, this process will be very painful for most who are willing to dig deep in their lives. There is nothing easy about opening up and sharing the secret places of our minds, the pain, the hate, the abuse, the anger, the sadness, and the lack of feeling worthy and loved.
Until we are right with God however, we cannot be right with anyone else in our lives, parents, girl friends, boy friends, wife, husband, siblings, friends, co-workers and the list goes on. You need to get really real and accept the only challange that comes with a reward of peace, joy and forgiveness, and this site is here to help you, and that of a Savior through Jesus Christ.
THE FOUNDER
Founder West Kenyon has spent over twenty years providing encouragement through teaching and counseling in God's Word to over ten thousand men and women at one of the worlds largest Christian based rehabilitation providers. While he continues to teach and provide counseling, the opportunity to share God's Word to an even broader audience is his passion and hence this resource, and God calls us to be missional Christians.
SITE DESIGN
The site is designed in the historic traditions of church architecture and was designed by West who has a degree in fine art and photography. West said, "I believe we are losing the awe and respect of worship by degrading [in name] our places of worship to "worship centers" and auditoriums, that [in design] resemble concert venues and shopping malls with a theater. That is obviously my opinion and one that I will not expect anyone else to agree with. I do however meet many who say they would like a place of worship that is completely and uniquely different and separate than any other place and space they can go during the week. With that, I am hoping to provide in the simplest of terms an on online place of reverence and awe for you to grow in the one true God and Savior."
West continued, "While we know God is indifferent to the buildings we house our worship services in, there is a sense of seriousness as we enter a magnificent sanctuary to worship God in and through the Word and song.

In all of this, remember my promise, "The one who conquers, I [Jesus] will grant that person to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. — Revelation 3:21 (ESV)
